Antonietta (Tonci) Poduie
My clients can benefit from my more than thirty years of international consulting experience in the area of public procurement and project financing by the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and International Institutions.
As Vice-President of International Development Business Consultants (IDBC) and International Procurement Consultants (IPC) in Washington, D.C., (1989 to 2001), and as an individual consultant in Italy (since 2001), I helped hundreds of European and international businesses in different sectors leverage the opportunities generated by international institutions as an integral part of their international strategy.
I provide consulting and training on procurement of goods, works and services to private clients, Chambers of Commerce and Industry Associations, NGOs, Financial Intitutions and emerging countries. I have direct experience of working as an independent consultant or as an expert on a team in internal tenders.
I can help draft project financing documents and applications for guarantees against political risk of said investments.
I worked in emerging countries in procurement and collaborated with Multilateral Organizations such as the World Bank and the African Development Bank.
A mother-tongue Italian, I am fluent in English, German, Serbo-Croatian and understand French and Spanish.
I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Padua, Italy, and an M.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in International Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
